Shillong Teer Method for Creating a Bow and Arrow
To play the Shillong Teer, one must have a perfectly designed of Bow and Arrow. This is one of the basic requirement to start the game. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to make the Bow and Arrow from wilderness material or simply at home, the DIY edition.
Step 1 - The first step is you must choose the right tree or type of wood which must be flexible so that it can be used for making a full powered stretchable bow that has high tendency to push the arrow at the best velocity. The wood must not be brittle as it may broke during the game when pulling the bow stronger from far distance. The long stick of wood is used which is little broader that must be strong enough to face the tensions during pulling and pushing.
Step 2 - The stick must be shaped into the bow shape that usually have thinner shape on both end. This will make the bow more flexible and easier to bend during the pulling process. You can use sharp knife to help you to shape this stick.
Step 3 - After the bow shaping is finished, you need to tied a strong string on one side, bend the stick until it looks like almost 180 degree angle and tied up another side. You may ask someone to hold the bow during this process as it might hard to tied the string in the same time holding the bow.
Step 4 - To make the arrow, you can use the same wood type and shape it into straight and smaller round stick which is sharp on one end. The other end must be blunt to hold the string of the bow. You should able to estimate the size of this arrow as it must not be so big or heavy to make sure it matched the bow and can shoot the target perfectly.
